My objective is to foster a nurturing and accepting environment where clients feel safe, valued, and heard. Through empathy and compassion, I approach counseling with a holistic perspective, dedicating time to comprehend the unique experiences and needs of each client. My collaborative approach encourages clients to actively participate in setting and achieving their goals on their journey towards positive change.

With 23 years of experience in private practice, I have worked with clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, grief, stress, self-esteem, anger, and narcissistic abuse/trauma. During my 14 years in the Central Texas area, I also provided therapy and educational support to children and teens across eleven school districts, particularly those deemed "at risk" or facing severe emotional disturbances. Additionally, I served as a behavior specialist, crafting and implementing effective behavior plans, individual educational plans, as well as participating in the children’s special education meetings (“ARD meetings”).

In addition to my clinical work, I have enjoyed sharing my expertise as an instructor at Tarleton State University and Baylor University, teaching courses such as Behavior Modification, Abnormal Psychology, and Psychological Tests & Measurements.

Recognizing the growing need for support in cases of anxiety related to narcissistic abuse and trauma from toxic relationships, I have obtained additional certification to better assist individuals facing these challenges.
